Product Description
An aid for opening a SafeSheath® hemostatic valve during the introduction of various types of pacing or defibrillator leads and catheters.
The Transvalvular Insertion Tool (TVI) is designed to open the hemostatic valve of SafeSheath® introducers and Sealing Adapters, the family of SafeSheath® CSG® introducers, and SafeSheath® Worley Telescopic Lateral Vein Introducer systems.
When inserted into the valve housing, the TVI aids insertion and advancement of a pacemaker lead through the hemostatic valve. The TVI may then either be withdrawn and peeled away or left resting on the shaft of the pacemaker lead.
