Specially designed to create the primary puncture in the interatrial septum when used with the SafeSept® Transseptal Guidewire.
The SafeSept Blunt Needle™ replaces a traditional transseptal needle when using the SafeSept® Transseptal Guidewire for creating the primary puncture in the interatrial septum, providing access through the septum from the right side of the heart to the left side.
Designed to be used with the .018 inch diameter SafeSept®, the SafeSept Blunt Needle™ comes in equivalent lengths of 71 cm, 89 cm, and 98 cm, and is available in Curve 0 and Curve 1 shapes.
